Mikey B is true ambassodor to the Hardcore Scene, a true player in the game since the the 1980’s. One of the pioneers of the UK Hardcore scene both as a DJ and Promoter, from his work with the likes of Raindance, Fantazia and Rezerection to his worldwide tour work including over 7 tours of the US and countless trips to Europe, Mikey is a definite exponent of the Hardcore Scene.
On a production tip Mikey has worked with many artists in the past. Currently he is working on some new projects with another hardcore legend DJ Ruffneck who he enjoyed previous success with on the ‘Doodlesex’ track released on Ruffneck records. Lookout for forthcoming releases in a new style from the Enzyme stable and maybe others as well??
Mikey has played at many of the biggest and best hardcore events, from intimate clubs holding 400 to mass events for 25,000…..to name a few events that mikey has played at regular include; Fantazia, Raindance, Dreamscape, Amnesia, Rezerection, Global gathering, Club Kinetic (the list is endless) and his own parties with Judgement Day and Dance Concept.
More than Just a DJ!!! --- Mikey is also reknown for his MC work as well, more than often pickin up the mic during his set to uplift the crowd and show them his is as up for it as they are!!! Mikey was also the MC for Dream Frequency who had many hits including ‘take me’ and ‘feel so real’ to name a few! Whilst he currently prefers to keep his MC’ing to his own sets of those combined with DJ Ruffneck, this DJ is a definite crowd pleaser in any environment.
